Invaded Lands

InvadedLands is a Minecraft Server owned by Skeppy. I was asked to design the icon images for their seasonal crates and keys on their website!
Concepts always begin with the main idea! For this crate, they wanted to have an Ender Dragon themed look. My sketches were based off of the classic look that the rest of the crates had, along with some experimental ones like the perking dragon and the sole head.
Colors are next in mind! Once the final design is selected, I would block in the values in black and white then provide multiple iterations for colors. For this crate, they wanted an alien - out of this world - kind of vibe, so I stuck with a variety of purples and greens; a color scheme commonly associated with it.
The style itself was provided by the client. They wanted a consistent look to their previously drawn icons, so working with them needed that flexibility that I delivered.

Christmas and Cats! Well, one cat specifically - Floof! Creating the website elements for this funky little guy had me thinking - what mischievous yet endearing ways do cats spend their time on Christmas? It's all to do with the decor - playing with it.
